These are the terms and conditions for The Calligraphy Box. By subscribing to or purchasing The Calligraphy Box, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

shipping schedule

The Calligraphy Box is shipped on the 6th of each month (or closest week day excluding bank holidays). You will be notified by email when your box has been posted.
UK delivery is free and will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class, 2-3 days (excluding Sunday).
International delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed and the delivery window is 3-5 days (Europe) and 5-7 days (worldwide). However, each country may add additional time for customs checks.

Cut-off date is the 1st of each month
If you subscribe after the cut-off date in any given month, then you will miss the current month's shipment that gets sent on the 6th. For example, if you subscribe on the 4th of January (after the cut-off date of the 1st of January), then you will not receive the box sent out on the 6th of January. The first box you will receive will be sent on the 6th of February.
In the above example, you will be billed immediately for your first order on the 4th of January, and then on a monthly basis from March 1st (if you have chosen a monthly subscription).
If you sign up before the cut-off then your first box will be sent out on the 6th of the following month. For example, if you subscribe on the 20th of December, then your first box will be sent out on the 6th of January.  


Billing Date- 1st of each month (monthly subscription only) 
If you are on a monthly payment subscription, then you will be billed automatically on the 1st of each month. Your box will then be shipped on the 6th of that month (or nearest weekday excluding bank holidays). 
If you have chosen a 3-month, 6-month or annual subscription, then this will be automatically renewed every 3, 6 or 12 months.  You will be billed on the same date that you subscribed each time it automatically renews - 3, 6 or 12 months later. For example, if you have subscribed to a 3-month subscription on the 10th of January then you will be billed again on the 10th of April and every 3 months after on a rolling basis. If you have subscribed to an annual subscription on the 10th of January, then you will be billed on the 10th of January yearly.


If you have signed up to a monthly, 3-month, 6-month or annual subscription, then this will automatically renew for you.

damaged/lost/missing goods

The delivery periods described above in the shipping section are estimates given by the Royal Mail. The arrival of your box may extend outside these estimates and this is outwith our control as it can be down to the time of year or customs for international customers. If your box has not arrived, arrived damaged or has items missing, please get in touch with us to remedy the situation. You can get in touch with us here

The contents of the boxes will be different each month but will always include what is listed on the home page in the 'What's in each box' section'

cancellations / PAUSE Your subscription

We are sad to see you go, but you are able to cancel your subscription to The Calligraphy box at any time without any hidden fees. You can do this by going to the plans page when you log in to your account. At the bottom on the page there is a contact us button under 'Cancel your subscription?'. Click this and please let us know why you have decided to cancel your subscription. 
However, you can also pause your subscription for two cycles. This is only available after three cycles of payment.


If you have changed your mind and would like to return your box then you can do this. You have 21 days from your box being delivered to make a return and be eligible for a refund. To receive a full refund, the subscription box and outer packaging must be unopened and in the same condition as it was shipped. Please follow these instructions - 
1. Let us know that you are going to be returning your box by sending us a message here.
2. Securely seal your subscription box with packaging and clearly write your name and subscription number visibly on the box. 
3. Post the box to us and obtain a receipt as proof of postage. The cost of shipping must be covered by you. 
4. Once we have received the returned box, we will issue a refund to the original payment method which can take 3-5 working days.
