The Calligraphy Box is a monthly subscription box perfect for anyone wanting to learn and practice calligraphy at home.

Unfortunately we do not offer student discount on our subscription boxes.

Yes its perfect for you. If you are a beginner and have never tried calligraphy before, the first box you will receive will include everything you need to learn the fundamentals including positioning, basic strokes and pressure movements. Find out more details and subscribe by clicking here.

Yes you can! Visit the Gift A Subscription page to find out more details and set up a gift.  At the checkout click the 'This is a gift' toggle. It will give you the option to choose when your gifted subscription starts, how long it will continue for and let you add a personal message. Please note all boxes are sent out on the 6th of each month regardless of when you choose your gift to start. Please make sure you subscribe before the 1st of the month and set the gift to start before the 1st of the month to receive the box delivered on the 6th. 

Yes it certainly is. As you are not a beginner, you dont need to learn the basics again. Each box that you receive will include in-depth lessons, challenges and practice sheets where you will learn new techniques, flourishing, alphabet examples and improve your ability to write in lots of different styles. how do the live video lessons work?

Each month through email you will receive a unique login link and details about the live video lesson. You can watch and practice along with the lesson live or watch the replay afterwards. 

What is the insiders community and how do i join?

The insiders community is a private Facebook group that you will be invited to join as a Subscriber to connect with other calligraphers, share your practice and importantly, get feedback. 

How long will the live video lesson replays be available for?

Each monthly live video will be available to replay for three months to give you plenty of time to go back and practice.

I've cancelled my subscription, but i want to reactivate, how do i do this?

You can change this within your account. Please log in by clicking here

We are sad to see you go, but you are able to cancel your subscription to The Calligraphy box at any time without any hidden fees. You can do this by going to the 'Plans' page when you log in to your account. At the bottom on the page there is a contact us button under 'Cancel your subscription?'. Click this and please let us know why you have decided to cancel your subscription. There is also the option to pause your subscription in case you would like a couple of months break (only available after three payments of your subscription).

We would love to have your rejoin us! Simply log back in to your account and under 'Plans' you can click to re-activate. We will then send out the next available subscription box to you. If you need any help, please get in touch with here

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I SUBSCRIBE?

Your first payment will be taken on the day that you subscribe. Your first box will then be shipped to you on the 6th of the next month. To find out more see our Terms and Conditions.

when will i receive my subscription box?

Yes, we do! Delivery charges will apply for destinations outside the UK, but this will show at the checkout. 

UK delivery is free and will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class, 2-3 days (excluding Sunday).
International delivery is £8.40 per box and is sent via Royal Mail Tracked and delivery window is 3-5 days (Europe) and 5-7 days (worldwide). However please note that each country may add additional time for customs checks.

The subscription boxes are sent out on the 6th of each month. The cut-off for the current month's box is the 1st the month. If you set up your subscription on or after the 1st of the month then you have missed the cut-off date and will receive the next months box. Please read more about cut-off times on our Terms and Conditions Page

Yes, you can but you will not be refunded for the boxes that have already been shipped. To cancel your subscription go to the 'Plans' page when you log in to your account. At the bottom on the page there is a contact us button under 'Cancel your subscription?'. Click this and please let us know why you have decided to cancel your subscription.

can i return my box?

Yes you can, please see how to complete your return on our Terms and Conditions Page under 'Returns'. 

will the subscription box fit through my letterbox?

If you letter box slot is 5cm in height then it will fit, if not and you are not in at time of delivery, it will be taken to your nearest post office for you to pick up.

when will i be billed each month?

how do i prevent my subscription from auto-renewing?

If you would like to prevent your subscription from auto-renewing, the only way to do this is to pause or cancel your subscription. You can do either of these actions on the 'Plans' page when you log in to your account. You can log in here

If you are on a monthly payment subscription, this means that you will be billed automatically on the 1st of each month. Your box will then be shipped on the 6th of that month. 
If you are on a 3-month, 6-month or annual subscription, then you will be billed on the same date that you subscribed each time it automatically renews - 3, 6 or 12 months later. For example, if you have subscribed to a 3-month subscription on the 10th of January then you will be billed again on the 10th of April and every 3 months after. If you have subscribed to a annual subscription on the 10th of January, then you will be billed on the 10th of January in the following year automatically.

what is refer a friend?

how does refer a friend work?

If you pass on your referral link to a friend and they use it to subscribe, you both will get £3 off! And better yet, you can use your referral link as often as you like!  

You can find your referral link once logged into your account or at the end of the checkout when purchasing your subscription. 
Pass this on to anyone who may be interested in subscribing to The Calligraphy Box and they can add your referral link at the checkout. You will then receive £3 off your next box and so will your friend who subscribed! 

is there a limit to how many friends i can refer?

There is no limit to the number of times you can give out your referral code. You will receive £3 off for every person signing up using your code.
